The Watsonia RSL Pipes and Drums are currently competing in Grade 4.

In the bands 25 years it has been very successful in the Australian competition scene. Some of the bands competition achievements have been:

2007

• 2nd place New Zealand Pipe band Championships Christchurch, 2007 Grade 4
• 1st place Victorian Pipe band Championships Daylesford, 2007 Grade 4

2008

• 2nd place Australian Pipe band Championships Sydney, 2008 Grade 4
• 1st place New Zealand Pipe band Championships Papakura, 2008 Grade 4
• 1st place Victorian Pipe band Championships Ballarat, 2008 Grade 4
• 1st place Victorian Pipe band Championships Geelong, 2008 Grade 4
• 1st place Victorian Pipe band Championships Ringwood, 2008 Grade 4

2009

• 1st place Daylesford Highland Gathering, 2009 Grade 3
• 2nd place Geelong Highland Gathering, 2009 Grade 4
