Welcome to the Watsonia R.S.L Pipes & Drums Website
The Watsonia RSL Pipes and Drums as it is now known, was formed in 1991 by a group of experienced players and since that time the band has made a name for itself as one of the most successful pipe bands in Victoria. After making great advancements in Grade 4 Competition in both Australia and New Zealand over the past years, Watsonia RSL Pipes and Drums was promoted to a Grade 3 within the Victorian branch of the Australian Pipe band Association.
The band is dedicated to encouraging and maintaining the craft of playing the bagpipes and the drums and performs at regular social events and functions as well as competing. The band is a member of the Victorian branch of the APBA and is actively supported by, and supportive of, that Association.

New members are always welcome to join the band as players. The band has a good mixture of experienced and not-so-experienced players, young and old, male and female members. The Band welcomes players of all levels of experience. Expert tuition is provided at all levels and a family friendly environment is guaranteed.
